General Requirements for International Students

1. Application for Admission
The completed application for admission and a nonrefundable $50 registration fee and $100 I-20 application fee should be submitted by check, credit card, or cash; the check must be made payable to P.I. Art Center and drawn on a U.S. bank. The application will not be processed without this fee, and there are no provisions to waive or postpone it except on special occasions.
2. Enrollment Deposit & Tool /Supply Fee
Nonrefundable $300 enrollment/tuition deposit and $60 Tool/Supply Fee each semester should be submitted by check, credit card, or cash; the check must be made payable to P.I. Art Center and drawn on a U.S. bank. The application will not be processed without this deposit, and there are no provisions to waive or postpone it except on special occasions.
3. High School Diploma or Equivalent
High School Diploma (in English)/GED/ or TASC.
4. Portfolio Review
Portfolio submitted by the applicant in order to place students in the adequate program. Students without a portfolio will be automatically placed in CORE STUDIES level courses/curricula.  Certain curricula and courses may require Proof of English Proficiency Test (TOEFL score of 45 or equivalent), such as a report from a valid English Language School verifying completion of the course level, or taking the English Proficiency Test (CEFR B1 Level) offered at P.I. Art Center. Other curricula and courses may not require any previous experience. All Overseas, Initial Status students, and any Change of Status students accepted into P.I. Art Center are required to enroll in the accepted curriculum for the duration of one quarter (14/15 Weeks). Students may change their curriculum after one quarter. For these students, transfer out is possible only after two quarters.
